Description
You are looking east along E Street at 19th Street in downtown Washington, D.C. It is barricaded along with roughly 30 other blocks in anticipation of World Bank and IMF-related protests.
I saw lots of cops, no protesters, and I couldn't get to the now-barricaded Corcoran Gallery at E Street and 17th. This barricade was not announced to the Corcoran Gallery, who was open but shut off behind the police lines. (date: 2002-09-29)
