Description
This scene is on the south side of Interstate Highway 10 in California, west of Palm Springs. This is the Mojave Desert, in the Coachella Valley. There is a well-known conflagration of windmills here, due to the heavy, reliable winds that exist here. (date: 2001-05-10)
