Non-residents might recognize this building from Prince's film Purple Rain. This nightclub is still around, booking live touring acts and featuring local talent.
I came to First Avenue to show a French woman I met through this site. She emailed me from Spain, but we met in person after she arrived.
I don't normally try to take night shots, I had ISO 800 film in my camera at the time. My back was to the Target Center and I'm looking down 7th street. (date: 1999-12-12)
