This view is from one of the footbridges over Washington Avenue, which connect the plaza in front of Coffman Union to Northrop Mall. You can see a small part of the Weisman Art Museum and it's steel skin on the far left. Washington Avenue travels over the Mississippi to the of the U of M's West Bank campus, then on to downtown. The Metrodome, Wells Fargo Tower, and the IDS tower are all visible in this picture. (date: 1999-09-30)
