Description
This fox squirrel lives in the Mathias Botanical Garden at UCLA. I put a pile of nuts on my stomach while laying on my back. He fetched them one at a time, and ate them while sitting on my leg.
These squirrels aren't native to the west coast, but were introduced to California by humans (for their interest/atmosphere value). (date: 2003-01-21)
