This is the front of the Minneapolis Technical Training Academy (MTTA) after it opened in the fall of 2001. I photographed the facility for the organization's director, Keith Hammond. It folded shortly after this when the school district canceled their contract with the school.
This was a contract alternative school with a focus on technology. It had new SUN terminals with flat panel monitors at every desk. According to the Star Tribune, many vendors were unpaid and withholding taxes for teachers were not paid. The high school was evicted from this facility. (date: 2001-11-12)
