Description
You are standing on First street looking toward the river(north). First Street is a few feet to your left, and Hennepin Avenue is one block to the right. This is in the warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis.
On the left is a restored brick building currently housing the Origami Restaurant. On the right is one side of the new Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank building. I chose this shot because of the contrast in style between the two buildings, one ancient and the other new. The Mississippi River is just beyond the Federal Reserve Bank. (date: 1999-11-08)
